AN: So essentially I've had a plot bunny like this stuck in my head for awhile. It went through many phases as I sat around hoping to see someone write similar, or come across someone willing to RP an angle with it...and eventually, this is what we end up with when I get tired of waiting, apparently.

In recent meta-level RP, a new (well, new to my ongoing arguments on the fact) argument came around for the Doctor's actions in Journey's End. Specifically the last bits with the standing-in-the-rain emo. You know the ones.

So I was minding my own business. Completely innocent. And then came across this completely random Youtube clip called 'David or Davina?'. It took me a few watch-throughs to decipher all the accents...I was distracted.

Anyway! With a bit of digging, I found that, pre-DW, David played a one-off character...

Oh, I'm sure I'm the last to find it out, so neeevermind that. ANYWAY.

The point is! David Tennant makes a surprisingly pretty girl, and I haven't seen any icons around of it, so I figured I'd make some. (The call of cracky iconning is irresistible) The source material wasn't that great, but I did my best.

So. Part of the reason I haven't been updating all that much has been because I've been writing a novel. That novel is not finished yet, but another one I finished a while back has now been published, on both e-book and in physical print.

I figured, hey, I might as well share.

These weren't really tests, so much as "Garsffdjgh there's not enough expressions out there for Cam!" They're not the most artsy I've ever made, but for the most part, they were made with the intention of RP-icons. Except when I got bored.

There's many, many more caps where these came from, I just haven't gotten around to iconning them. And I actually have other huge icon batches, including Sarah Connor/Kyle Reese. I just....it's exhausting to upload.

I just figured, I've been silent, and haven't finished those fics I've been working on, so...instead, have something productive?

AN: So, on my second viewing, I got a bit meta and this idea wouldn't leave me. I'm torn on two possible results, so there will likely be a second fic to this at some point, it's just...probably a longer one, so I went with this instead. Somehow it still ended up a bit different than I expected.

Disclaimer: Don't own the canon. In fact there's a quite a bit directly quoted from it, given that most of its taken directly from episodes.

AN: Okay, so basically, quick run-down so it'll make sense: Years back I came up with the idea of the One Times Infinity crew encountering an alternate universe Rose where the Doctor was the one trapped in Pete's world, instead of Rose. This concept was later expanded upon brilliantly by spastasmagoria in her fic A Life Without. When I decided to pick up a Rose, I chose to snatch up that plotbunny again (using a bit of a hybrid of my original idea and hers, but that's not important to this fic!) The important part is, I wrote this fic as a character-fleshing exercise for that specific character. Certain things are skewed from canon accordingly, and it isn't entirely written as I might have if it were an actual fic.

AN: This was written in bulk, as a very long one-shot, but apparently a 16k+ word fic won't fit in one post. What d'you know. So instead, get it in three shots. Pretend you get to watch an ad and an obnoxious SyFy bumper between each part. Apparently, whilst the laptop is ded,  one of the only things I can do is write obnoxiously long fiction. Yay scrappy little legal pads.

Now, this is a shippy fanfic, and written initially for shipping purposes. The more I wrote it, however, the more the story grew around it into what I feel is...pretty much an entire episode. In respect for this, the shippy content has hopefully been kept at SG-1 levels.

I am proud of this fic purely because it's so freaking long, but that does not mean you have to cover the comments in powdered sugar. I'm good with any sort of comment, as always.

I'm not afraid to say the DW ones are less interesting than the Farscape, really. The technique worked better on Farscape's lighting. The usual rules remain the same--comment if you take any, credit, and don't hotlink anything.

I'd like to add an extra note here, to say please comment. The entire point of this experiment was to see how they came out, really, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, yaaay for Opposite plot. This is not a SOTP, so much as an early vague "My ideas for OP re: my pups" post. Longer name, really. xD But I digress. Right now, I'm thinking that all of my pups will be in Opposite plot. I'm not 100% on that yet. I might exclude the ladies if I don't think of an appropriate plot for them.

For now, however, my plots look like this:

Adam: Will be incredibly friendly, happy, honest and...very "The Real" Takezo Kensei--From the brief period where he's fighting White Beard, before Hiro betrayal. He'll be wanting to find the island alcohol, and probably be either EXTREMELY irritating, or entirely likable. Post OP he'll be generally pissy and grumpy. Other people who'll be enjoying the weekend as much as him to thread with him will be great. Nothing really to say there.

Cameron: I've been thinking about Cam for awhile--mulling over and rejecting different ideas. Ever since the Evil Twin meme, really. Now, I'm definitely looking forward to it, because I think it'll be something that'll end up both therapeutic and traumatic for him. I will admit to deriving a bit of inspiration from the song "Cold Hearted". Cam will be an awesome, manipulative, womanizing ass all weekend. After effects will depend heavily on what happens during that time.

Cam is really, one of the main reasons I post this. Because a part of his change will be in chasing the wimmens across the island and back, I can only imagine he won't be entirely unsuccessful. Given the nature of the plot, I figure it best to open up a list now to plot with anyone interested, and see what we can't come up with for possibilities. There'll be other posts as the plot gets closer, obviously. This is just the first rough draft.
