Summary: The Doctor makes an unexpected stop on the Farewell Tour, only to realize it's not so unexpected after all.

So this is primarily a gen, suuper fluff vid. You can see it as entirely canon, or go flufftastic and take it AU.

The general idea is that the four main companion girls in s1-6 all have their flaws and insecurities and personal problems, but it takes the Doctor to show them how brilliant (and perfect) they are. Along the way, the companions teach the very same thing to the Doctor and make him a better man for being around them.

Of course, when they realize the Doctor is still suffering from cynicism and depression, due to his self loathing, the companions won't stand for it, and won't rest until they prove to the Doctor that to them he is just as brilliant and special as they seem to him. No matter his flaws and mistakes, to the companions, the Doctor will always be perfect. (Hey, it's fluff)

It's not outright meant to be shippy, but there's definitely currents of ships in it if you choose to see them.

RIGHT. So awhile back, I came across an impromptu rant in the middle of something completely unrelated about how DW was so much better before romance and Rose etc. I was briefly tempted to tilt at that particular windmill...and then decided, screw it, why not royally irritate unnamed person my just contributing to the fandom they can't stand? Yes? Yes?

It was fun to make, anyway.

So. This is basically a picspam illustrating all the times in s5 when the Doctor was really thinking about Rose. The skew is intentionally shipper, and...honestly, a bit neurotic of the Doctor were it true sometimes, but. XD

I made 'em in order by episode, but the actual caps aren't always shown chronologically within the episode.

Disclaimer: Don't own the canon. In fact there's a quite a bit directly quoted from it, given that most of its taken directly from episodes.

AN: Okay, so basically, quick run-down so it'll make sense: Years back I came up with the idea of the One Times Infinity crew encountering an alternate universe Rose where the Doctor was the one trapped in Pete's world, instead of Rose. This concept was later expanded upon brilliantly by spastasmagoria in her fic A Life Without. When I decided to pick up a Rose, I chose to snatch up that plotbunny again (using a bit of a hybrid of my original idea and hers, but that's not important to this fic!) The important part is, I wrote this fic as a character-fleshing exercise for that specific character. Certain things are skewed from canon accordingly, and it isn't entirely written as I might have if it were an actual fic.

You could look at it either as 9 being young Claude, or Claude being older 9.

Summary:
Peter wants to know what made Claude so bitter, and Claude finally gives in and tells him, based off of a short fiction.

When Claude was younger, he fell in love with and married a young woman named Rose. Everything was going well until a recruiter approached him for a special sort of 'job'. They needed money, so despite Rose's reluctance, he took it.

While there, the people injected him with strange things, claiming it was just a required safety measure. When the two find out they are expecting, a recruiter approached Rose, as well.

Claude gets suspicious, and says he quits, but the people he works for aren't happy with people just 'backing out', and Claude meets with unexpected resistance.

The struggle results in the explosion of his home, the death of Rose and their unborn child, and his presumed death.

Notes: The song was so hard to pick! I had the story from the outset, and several scenes for the video, but I just couldnn't pick the song for at least an hour.

Well...I've come up with a fic idea I much want to read, but is unfortunately a bit too smutty for me to write...sooo...

I plead for someone to help! I'm not sure which comm would work best for the request, so I'll keep it in here for now.

Basically, I'm tired of the two most common storylines for Jack/Rose:

1 - Rose meets Alt!Jack Post-DD and they have teh secks and are happeh

2 - Jack somehow falls thru a hole in the universe that the Doctor misses--and doesn't notice him going through, AND doesn't ever follow, and finds Rose, and they are happeh, and they have teh secks.

So, I thought up a possible storyline for a deviation from the common post-DD storylines. (And from the OT3 ones, which are fun, but tend to have mansecks which distracts from Rose/Jack ;p)

Some of the order is messed up in this, but I'm thoroughly tired of messing with these darn icons, so thats the way it'll stay. ;P

About the bad wolf manip... well it was just fun!

Well. Some of ya might be familiar with my fic One Times Infinity? I haven't written in it forever, mostly because I've been out of contact with the lady who volunteered to beta it, and I refuse to write this story without someone to fix up silly typos, catch my American-isms, and remind me when I'm losing the voice of the characters.

Would anyone wanna be my beta/brit-pick/consultantything? I'd have to tell ya all I have planned about the plot and such, and I'd generally nag you about all things pertaining to the fic, bounce off ideas, make sure I'm not deviating father than I intend to from canon, that sorta thing.
