Can I just say? It feels so...surreal.

I'm actually happy with what we got--insomuch as I can be. I'd have liked a little more on the beach and a little less with Donna (Mostly because it would have hurt less)...but...

THIS was the closure I wanted. Yes, it would have been better if we'd heard it, or if he hadn't CHICKENED OUT and pushed her away, but honestly it was the most anyone could realistically hope for.

But....God....It's so strange. As the Confidential put it--its the end of an era. RTD, our beloved s1-4 companions, Rose...and just wow. DD fixer upper fic come to life. Its crazy to think it really happened. And I can look back at it and smile, even though it smarts not to get any more.

I can't honestly guarantee I'll want to see anything more of DW yet, but I have two years to move on from this to be interested in DW again. Until then, fandom is newly interesting to me, and its not because I'm bitterly driven there (Okay, yes, some of it is, but its not Doomsday magnitude).

Now, while I TOTALLY DID tell you all so about s4 Rose and such, what I'm really trying to say here is...D/R finally won, even if its a convoluted victory...and...in the face of it...I'm not even sure what to say. After wanting it so long, I'm somewhat stunned now that I finally got it XD
