She Is

She is a vision in white, scrawny and skeletal. Her hair falls hopelessly into her eyes, no matter how many times she brushes it back. She manages a rakish smile, and tosses her hair back with flair. He embraces her tightly, and kisses her with a fire his gentle nature never hinted.

She is strong, sturdy, and solid. She is weary and scarred, haunted by nightmares and ghosts all her own. He clings to her for comfort and protection, murmuring in anguish. He rakes his nails across thin flesh and taunt muscle, as she presses her face into the worn pillow.

She is his Aphrodite in the moonlight, willowy and beautiful. She smiles softly as she leads him into bed, luring him in with her sweet seduction. He tugs her hair and kisses her stomach. A glimmer of copper and red in the pale light, and he pulls her close in silence.

She is quiet and timid, a shivering form in the darkness of the room. She is all curves and rolls and trembling flesh. He draws her in and strokes her skin with a soft reassurance in his eyes. She settles back into the tear-stained cushion, as he tosses a tired arm over her form.

She shows him everything he wants, she becomes everything he needs. She gives him everything he ever loved. As she walks across the threadbare carpet toward the open door, she is nothing to him.

AN: Well, the original idea of it had more smut involved, actually, and was form Remus' POV, but I saw no reason to include it in the finished product, and Tonk's POV was so much better.
