Vale Decem
So I found a fan translation of Vale Decem lyrics by Penelope Goodman...and basically just teared up all over again. I don't think I'll ever watch End of Time and have it not totally break my heart :(

(For interest it's:)

Farewell, Ten
On to eternity
The fates be with you
On to eternity.
Farewell, Ten
The fates be with you.
Oh, blessed he
Who brought us peace.
Farewell, Ten
Lay down your burden
We will remember you forever more.
Farewell, Ten
We give you thanks.
On to eternity
You are not alone
Trust to the last

Doctor Who 6x02 - Day of the Moon - Review + thoughts
You know my reviews. They are ssssppoileriffic, because they're really more commentary for people who've seen it, than advice to people who haven't.

You'll never guess what lies beyond. SPOILER: Spoilers! )

LJ really could do with more love-memes and love-fest celebrations. Complaining and hating is easy. You'll ruin a day, maybe, annoy someone, maybe get them to quit something or another. In a week at most, it'll be forgotten, and mean nothing, except for the general feeling of discontent. Or you could share some love with your fellow LJers, whether they blog, icon, fic, RP, or I don't know, run cracky polls and meme comms. Brighten their day, make 'em feel good about themselves and about what they do or the community. It'll have a longer, better impact. You make a bigger impact with a hug than a slap. So why not? Make some people feel good, share some happy and get some happy back! Go on! Find some love comms, or make some, go hug some LJ peoples, and tell 'em how awesome they are, yeah?

It might be fun. :3

The Psyonic
So. Part of the reason I haven't been updating all that much has been because I've been writing a novel. That novel is not finished yet, but another one I finished a while back has now been published, on both e-book and in physical print.

I figured, hey, I might as well share.

Okay. So Adrian's vid plus the newest trailer have finally interested me in season 3. A little. I'm not saying I'm in the fandom at all...because I'm not, but I'm giving them a chance to fix everything they screwed up in season two.

Highlights of the trailer!

Spoilers? For the trailer and Adrian's clips + speculation )

Conclusion: It has promise, which is a lot, considering how much I detested Heroes after season two. But it could just be jerking my chain. If it expects me to sit through another season of Days of Our Heroes, screw them.

I want more Adam. Done right.

So I just looked up the stuff I've got out of curiosity and to show pictures of them...

Doctor Who - The Game of Time and Space, was apparently the first board game of DW, and is apparently very rare (and fun)...and it's on e-bay for 70-150 dollars? DUDE. PEOPLE.

The 1985 calander is up for $125 on Amazon, and the Marvel comics we got for 25 cents back when they were new are $10

Not to mention the Doctor Who Weeklys are actually Doctor Who Magazine in its infancy? Really?

That's just weird.

...I need to stop being such a big fat Doctor Who geek. It's embarrassing me.

To be fair, though, I only do it over Rose and Leela, because I love them.

And both of them fall in love with Time Lords....Leela even has a TIME BABY. What the hell, me?

Here I was naively thinking I was pretty much out of the fandom for good.

Hello DW fic inspirations.

I can't believe Don S. Davis died. It's terrible. He was such a lovely guy, and it showed through his portrayal of Hammond. It's so sad.
